Salary: 15,000 – 18,000 pro rata
Flexible Hours – 3 day per week

We are looking to recruit a part time chef to support our existing catering team, you must be passionate about cooking with local, seasonal produce and work well as part of a busy team. The work is exciting and varied. The role is based at both our sites at St Margaret’s Bay and Ringwould between Dover and Deal. The applicant will be working in varied catering areas in our outdoor learning centre, tea room and eco-venue. They are also required to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays which can be the busiest times.
- Successful applicants will have the following
- NVQ Level 2 or above
- Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
- At least 2 years relevant experience (including bulk catering experience)
- Must have a food hygiene certificate
- Must have an understanding of allergens
- Knowledge of ‘Safer Food Better Business’
- Clean driving licence and personal transport
Other personal attributes
Clear communication with both staff and customers
including children and adults with learning difficulties.
Well presented, clean and appropriately dressed
