The Pines Community Initiative

About the pines community initiative

In autumn 2025, we’re launching the brand-new Pines Community Initiative – an annual opportunity for local people and organisations to bring their ideas to life at our unique venue, The Pines Calyx, completely free of charge.

Whether it’s a workshop, performance, exhibition, or conference, the space is yours for one or two consecutive days (with extra time for set-up and take-down if needed).

The Pines Calyx in an eco build in the beautiful setting of The Pines Garden, St Margaret’s Bay. Just a few minutes walk from the beach, it is a unique spot to host any event – from conferences to training courses, retreats to artistic performances, personal celebrations and much more. With three meeting, dining and presentation spaces, and an outdoor terrace, The Pines Calyx venue is suited to a wide range of uses.
